Or Stannis and Davos are standing back to back in amidst hundred of dead bodies with two knights circling them like vultures. The two knights kill Davos and Stannis at the same time and their bodies fall to the ground in one loud bang.

Zuhair Murad Spring/Summer 2007

As an enormous army is surrounding Stannis and Team Dragonstone one knight breaks through the protection and kills everyone but Stannis and Davos. They take one look at each other and draw their swords. The knight kills Davos slowly in front of Stannis. His most fierce and loyal supporter…gone. Stannis then drops his sword, drops to his knees and the knight kills him with one quick strike.

History Meme | 2/8 Objects: 1920’s Dresses

1920’s Dresses were lighter and brighter and shorter than ever before. Fashion designers played with fabric colors, textures and patterns to create totally new styles of dress. Evening dresses, coats and jackets were often trimmed with fur. Hemlines rose for most of the decade but dropped slightly toward the end. Shoes and stockings assumed a greater prominence now that they were more visible. Silk stockings in all the colors of the rainbow, often with patterns, were designed to match the coordinated outfits of stylish women. (x)

History meme » four presidents prime ministers - Gough Whitlam [4/4]

#claws at it  #gough whitlam was a man who had brilliant (sometimes bordering on genius) ideas to imporove the country  #he was a modern leader who was one of the most idealistic figures in the history of our country  #if not the most idealistic  #he wasn't just after power like the many leaders before (and after) him  #he genuinely wanted to make australia a better place to live and unfortunately that would be his undoing  #he recognised change and embraced it like an old friend  #australia has always been a dependent nation  #we've relied on britian; the united states; asia  #whitlam had an independent vision for australia  #he came from a working family and the public loved him - until they didn't  #for all of his strengths his main weakness was that in order to achieve his ideals he didn't handle the economy properly  #and that was the last straw for the more conservative eschelons of the country  #especially in the 1970s  #however he remains one of my favourite leaders because he had the gusto to imagine a bigger and better australia  #he loved his country and wanted to see it grow and be recognised for doing so  #he set up a foster agreement with china  #he utilised television in a way no leader had before (or has done since)  #he made made university fees free  #he gave the indigenous population the rights they should always have had  #he set up medicare  #i could go on but this is long enough so i won't  #he's the opposite of everything I am and I find him intrinsically compelling  #australia  #history  #australian history
